Both the White River and the Norfork River are well known for their wonderful trout-fishing. The White being the closest (its located directly below us) and also the largest, is a great fishery for both the rainbow and brown trout. While the Norfork River  is  only about four miles in length, it's  also a wonderful fishery and is a fly fishing haven because it provides several easy wade in access points. Our resort was designed and built by a fisherman primarily with other fishermen in mind.  And each of our professional White River fishing guides cater to fishermen of all levels of expertise from beginning spin fishermen to advanced fly fishermen. Because both of these rivers are tail water fisheries, the water levels can rise and fall unexpectedly.  For that reason an experienced White River fishing guide is highly recommended for all first time fisherman.

Our Arkansas White River Flyfishing Resorts provide all tackle and gear for our fully guided fishing trips including fly rods and reel combos, lines, and flies. All tackle provided by the lodge is top of the line line gear and is available to each of our registered guests.

Our choice in fly rods include Loomis, TFO, and Scott rods.
Fly reels include Loomis, Galvan, and Lamson, all loaded with the appropriate backing, fly lines, and leaders.

You can expect that all spinning gear used will be of the same highest quality.

Spinning reels supplied: Shimano Stradics, all loaded with 4 pound or 6 pound lines.
Spinning rods supplied: Loomis or Falcon all in light or ultra light weight models

Our Arkansas white river flyfishing resorts are rated as some of the best in the country and all of our trips include lunch, drinks (non-alcoholic) apropriate fishing gear and tackle. Although we make certain that everything you need is provided, our angling guests are encouraged to bring their own gear if preferred.
