The White River Inn’s location and breathtaking views from a steep bluff 300 feet overlooking the river is the pinnacle in Arkansas White River or Norfork River Flyfishing Lodges. The White River located directly below us, being the closest and also the largest is a great fishery for both rainbow trout and brown trout. While the Norfork River is only about four miles long, it nevertheless provides a wonderful trout fishery. It is a fly fishing haven simply because it provides easy wade in access from several vantage points. Our lodge was designed and constructed by a fisherman for fishermen and all of our professional White River and Norfork River flyfishing guides cater to every level of expertise from the beginning spin fishermen to advanced fly fishermen. Since both of these excellent rivers are tail water fisheries, water levels can rise and fall without warning. An experienced White River or Norfork River flyfishing guide is highly recommended for all first time fisherman.
Our Fly rods include Loomis, TFO and Scott in several sizes, and our fly reels include Loomis, Galvan and Lamson, all topped and loaded with the appropriate fly lines and leaders. For those who prefer to sample the spinfishing opportunities, all spinning gear used will be of the same high quality. Our reels include Shimanos
filled with appropriate quality 6 or 4 lb
lines. OurWhite River and Norfork river flyfishing guides are rated as some of the best in the country. Our fully outfitted trips include lunch, drinks, fishing gear and tackle. Everything you will need to flyfish on the Norfork River is provided, however our valued guests are encouraged to bring their own gear if preferred.
