BUFFALO RIVER FLYFISHING GUIDES![]() Arkansas' Buffalo River is known as one of the top smallmouth streams in the country. A few of our Buffalo River Flyfishing Guides are passionate or maybe I should say obsessed with the Brown Bass. The flyfishing on the Buffalo river can be exceptional at times. Small crayfish patterns and river minnow imitations are always great choices. The Buffalo flows into the White River, and at the confluence you can catch both trout and smallies. When you hire a buffalo river flyfishing guide you are assured of a safe, enjoyable day on one of Americas most Scenic and productive smallmouth rivers. Beginning a trip from the White River Inn facilitates an easy trip either at the confluence at Buffalo City or further upriver at one of the launch areas. If you are new to the Arkansas Ozarks or unfamiliar with the history and makeup of the White River please click here here for more > information. If you already appreciate what the White River has to offer please read on about our fishing guide services. Both the White and the Norfork Rivers are excellent trout fisheries. The White River being the closest (directly below us) and also the largest is a great fishery for both rainbow trout and brown trout. The Norfork River although only four miles long also provides a wonderful fishery and is a fly fishing haven as it provides easy wade in access. Our lodge was built by a fisherman for fishermen and our professional guides cater to all levels of expertise from beginning spin fishermen to advanced fly fishermen. As both of the rivers are tailwater fisheries and the water levels can rise and fall unexpectedly a guide is highly recommended for any first time fisherman.
