The White River and the North Fork River, both near Mountain Home, are both known for their excellent trout fishing. The closest of the two, the White River located directly below us is also the largest.  The White is a great fishery for both rainbow trout as well as the elusive brown trout.  Our Mountain Home trout fishing resort, was built by a fisherman for fishermen and all of our professional White River fishing guides cater to all levels of expertise from novice spin fishermen to advanced fly fishermen. Because the White River is what is known as a tailwater fishery,  the water levels can rise and fall without advanced warning. Fly rods include: Scott, Loomis, and TFO along with Loomis, Galvan, or Lamson reels, all topped with the appropriate fly lines, backing, tippets and leaders.

The spinning gear we use will be of the same top quality.  We use Shimano Stradic spinning reels appropriately topped with either 6 or 4 lb lines. And we use either Loomis or Falcon rods in light or ultra light weights.
