Both the White River and the North Fork River are known for their excellent trout fishing. The White River is the closest  and largest of the two, and is a great fishery for both rainbows as well as brown trout.  Our Ozark Mountain Flyfishing lodges designer  was a fisherman and it is certainly built for fishermen.  Additionally, all of our professional White River fishing guides cater to all levels of expertise from the beginning spin fishermen to advanced flyfishing enthusiasts.  The White River is known as a tailwater fishery and the water levels can rise and fall without warning.  An experienced fishing guide is highly recommended for all first time fisherman.

Our beautiful Ozark Mountain Flyfishing lodges view, overlooking the gorgeous White River,  provides all tackle and gear for our fully guided fishing trips including fly rods and flies. All tackle provided by the lodge is top of the line gear and is available to all registered guests.

Supplied fishing gear includes Loomis, TFO and Scott fly rods and  Loomis, Galvan and Lamson reels topped with the appropriate fly lines and leaders.

We supply spinning gear of the same high quality.

We use Shimano Stradic reels all filled with either 6 or 4 pound lines along with Loomis or Falcon rods in light or ultra light weights.

The fishing trips from our Ozark Mountain flyfishing lodges are rated as some of the best in the entire nation.  Both our White River and North Fork River flyfishing trips include a box lunch, nonalcoholic drinks,  all fishing gear, and all tackle. Everything you'll need is supplied, however all of our valued guests are certainly encouraged to bring their own gear if preferred.
